1. Compassionate Schools

Aiming to support primary schools through their journey in becoming Compassionate Schools, JUST FEEL deploys a whole-school approach that empowers schools and teachers to integrate social emotional learning and compassionate communication into classrooms and school environments.

Teachers undergo a series of training to better prepare for teaching social emotional learning, and parents are engaged through workshops to learn how to nurture student social-emotional skills development at home.

2. Compassionate School Sponsoring Body

JUST FEEL is now working on a Compassionate School Sponsoring Body Programme with the Hong Kong Buddhist Association for its 7 member primary schools to promote wider adoption of compassionate communication at cross-school and board levels.

3. Research & Development

Building upon JUST FEL's organizational and program successes, we have engaged Impact Analytics as a third-party research partner to support the research & development of JUST FEEL's Compassionate School Program since spring 2024. The team is now refining the Theory of Change and mapping program outcomes.

With more empirical evidence, more light will be shed on how this SEL intervention can be evaluated in the context of Hong Kong schools.
