Parenting Centers

Aiming to improve rural children’s cognitive and social emotional skills, the program delivers parental training and family education services to families with children aged 3 – 36 months through 6 parenting centers in Pingli county, Shaanxi province.

Parenting center staff are trained to deliver services to both children and their parents, while managing center operations with a specifically developed management system. The impact of the parenting center operation model is evaluated for policy papers toward further scale.
